Coach x WNBA

This was a massive collaboration at Revery for Coach — with a whirlwind of elements coming together in one epic moment: Draft Night at the WNBA, with Coach as the first luxury partnership, highlighting five up and coming rookies.

We got ready with the rookies. Crafted the orange carpet experience. Created the draft night experience where all athletes received and customized their own Coach bags. Followed by a two-day shoot to meet these women at the moment when their lives changed forever. And we captured it all.

We developed a 360-degree campaign that bridged the worlds of sport and fashion. The campaign included teaser films, an experiential pop-up at the 2025 WNBA Draft, and a live-action shoot and stills with the top five draftees. The work launched across broadcast, social, digital, and out-of-home channels and featured in a little publication better known as Vogue. Our photographs inspired Coach to create an OOH campaign.

The resulting buzz and major press attention didn’t hurt.

The teaser

Coach needed to announce their partnership with the WNBA before the draftees were determined. Instead of talent, we created a world that visually merged Coach and the court. After concepting, the teaser was digitally built in Blender and After Effects, printed out, cut up, and collaged by hand by video artists Ewan Creed and James Siewert.

Film

We tapped iconic fashion photographer Heather Hazzan (we shot on film!) and director Vivian Kim to capture the essence of the draftees not just as athletes but as dimensional women unapologetically meeting this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

“This has been a dream project working with a dream team! Revery — Your team is brilliant!”

The Details

This was a massive team effort in every sense of the word. It wouldn’t have been possible without the creative collective of Revery, especially Jay Florence, Zak Marx, Alex Gilbert, Jake Lowden, Max Solomon, Stacy Van Ness, Sara Magness, and Rachel Celotto. And, of course, our powerhouse editors and the dedicated Coach crew that helped bring this to life.
